Dr. Linda Perkins, DDS MAGD, earned her DDS from Loma Linda University and completed advanced training through the UCLA Aesthetic and Implant Continuums. She is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor held by only about 2% of general dentists nationwide.
Dr. Perkins is known for a gentle, patient-focused, and conservative approach to treatment — meaning she recommends what your teeth actually need, not what generates the biggest treatment plan. As a dentist-owned, locally operated practice for over 19 years, we’re not accountable to a corporate quota. We’re accountable to you.
What to Expect at Your Second Opinion Visit
- Bring what you have. X-rays, treatment plans, or notes from your original dentist help us give you the fastest answer, but don’t worry if you don’t have them — we can take new images here.
- A thorough, independent exam. Dr. Perkins will evaluate the area in question herself, not just review someone else’s notes.
- A clear, honest explanation. Dr. Perkins will show you what she sees through xrays and interoral photography, whether it confirms the original recommendation, suggests a different approach, or finds that treatment isn’t needed yet.

“Will you tell my other dentist I came in?”
No. Your visit is confidential. What you do with the information is entirely up to you.
“Do I need new X-rays, or can I bring my own?”
You can bring existing X-rays. If they’re recent, we can often use them; otherwise we’ll take new images as part of your exam for free.
“What if you agree with my original dentist?”
Then you’ll leave with confidence that the recommended treatment is genuinely necessary — which is valuable on its own.
“Is a second opinion covered by insurance?”
Our second opinions are free, so coverage isn't important.
